Canadian Solar's e-Storage has secured a contract from Nova Scotia Power to develop the first grid-scale battery energy storage projects across three locations in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Canadian Solar said separately that e-STORAGE has also secured a battery energy storage system (BESS) supply agreement for a 20.7-MW/56-MWh DC energy storage project in Lower Saxony, Germany. Shipments are set to start in March 2026, with commissioning due later that year.
